Following the highly acclaimed solo exhibition "Ryukyu Eight Views of the Floating World" at the Urasoe Art Museum, TARTAROS presents his featured solo exhibition "The Golden Crest of Waves" at Ryubo, enriched with brand-new masterpieces.
By overlaying Hokusai’s ukiyo-e, global banknotes, and gold/silver leaf through meditative visions, his unique methodology vividly illuminates the profound, primitive connections between the world and Okinawa.

TARTAROS / 日乃谷 啓（現代美術家）
Based in Okinawa.
歴史文明、通貨システムをテーマに、紙幣素材の絵画や立体、瞑想絵画を発表。本物の紙幣と金銀箔を古典美術と合成するその手法は、資本主義の構造を解体し、文明の根源的なつながりを視覚化する。
Integrating real banknotes and gold/silver leaf with classical art, TARTAROS deconstructs the mechanisms of global capitalism and modern ideological worship. His visionary practice, rooted in meditative states, uncovers the elemental threads that seamlessly weave diverse global civilizations together.
